hi. i just wanted to say that i just randomly bored looking online, found some of the articles you wrote about Tijuana and life their. just wanted to let you know i love them, and it definetly shows a side of TJ you wont get from tv or ads. I have a love/hate relationship with TJ myself. I was born their, and at times i miss living their. But i look at what has become of the city, and i think what a shame. I have had familly members, that have personally witnessed, and almost be came victims of these awful drug wars. I just pray that all of them stay safe, and that these damn wars are over soon. Thank you for sharing your’e stories and personal experiences with the public on TJ. It makes me feel as if im not the only one who sees the good in my TJ. its their, you just have to look for it. Thank you.
I want to compliment Kinsee on her curatorial skills for her recent show “Still Searching” at the Red House Gallery, April 18. The artwork displayed and artists in attendance made for a great show. The support materials she provided were cleverly written and also informative on how to behave at an art opening. She included tips on how to ask questions to artists about their artwork and converse with others about the work on display.
Kinsee has excellent communication and promotional skills. As an arts advocate, I am delighted that Kinsee found her way back home and brings with her not only fresh ideas and insight, but excellent photographic work of her own.
I wish Kinsee the best of luck and will support her in all the ways that I can in advancing the arts in SWCO.

I stubmled onto your TJ blog, was pretty cool. I am a long time Baja traveler, but was never much of a TJ fan. I clicked to your new digs n Durango, great choice of an area to live.
You should explore the decline of the Navajo culture, it is still an amazingly intact native society, but is fading fast. My sons mother was from there, although we lived in San Diego, I got a full dose of the rez, the good, the bad, and the ugly.
